Steve Riley
Executive Director, Europe

Steve was appointed Executive Director, Europe in August 2003, having previously been International Power's managing director, Australia. He is responsible for managing all aspects of International Power's performance in the European region including plant operations, finance, energy trading and new business development.

Steve joined the Company in 1985 holding senior positions in two UK power stations. Following the demerger of International Power he was appointed managing director, Australia in January 2000.

Steve was appointed to the Board in January 2004 and he is currently Chairman of the Association of Electricity Producers in the UK. He is a Non-Executive Director of Shanks Group plc.

Kevin Dibble
Director, Marketing – First Hydro

Kevin joined International Power following its acquisition of First Hydro in 2004. At First Hydro, Kevin is responsible for longer term contracting of its two pumped storage hydroelectric power stations, in both the ancillary services and traded markets. He combines this role with regulatory monitoring and coordination on behalf of International Power's UK business.

Kevin has over 15 years experience in the electricity industry, with previous roles in business development and pool trading. Prior to joining International Power, Kevin worked for Edison Mission Energy as a director of Trading & Marketing.

Gareth Griffiths
Director, Global Trading

Gareth joined International Power in 1991 and now manages global trading with responsibility for our trading operations in the UK, US and Australia.

Gareth has 16 years' experience in the industry and was previously vice president, Marketing and Trading for our North American business. Prior to this he held various roles in the UK including sales and marketing, market analysis, risk and retail positions.

Clive Warden
Director of Business Development, Europe

Clive joined International Power in 2004 following the acquisition of the Edison Mission Energy assets and he is currently responsible for European business development.

Clive is a chartered electrical engineer with over 25 years experience in the power industry. Prior to joining International Power in 2004 Clive was a regional vice president at Edison Mission Energy, with responsibility for business development in the European region. Clive started his career as an operational engineer with Southern Electricity in 1980 before moving into the Company's power generation subsidiary when the industry was privatised in 1989.
