Bruce Levy

Bruce Levy
Executive Director, North America

Bruce Levy took on his current role in December 2004, and is responsible for all aspects of International Power's performance in North America including plant operations, finance, energy trading and new business development.

Bruce is a business leader with more than three decades of experience in the U.S and international energy sector. Prior to joining International Power, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at GPU, Inc a diversified energy production and distribution company where he was responsible for all financial operations of the company.

Bruce serves as Chair of the Electric Power Supply Association, the national association of competitive power suppliers. He continues to be active in industry trade associations that shape the development and implementation of industry policy on the US state and federal level.



Chris Herbert

Chris Herbert
Director, Market Analysis

Chris joined International Power in 2000 and in his most recent role of Director, Market Analysis he oversees the Market Risk and Analytics group. In this role, he is responsible for managing the market analysis and forecasting functions, as well as the risk management group. Throughout his 18 years of experience in the energy industry, Chris has been involved in market forecasting and analysis, and generation asset valuation.

Prior to accepting his current role in 2009, Chris spent six years in the Business Development group and played a lead role in evaluating project development and acquisition opportunities and refinancing of the US debt facilities.



Kelly Tomblin

Kelly Tomblin
Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Services

Kelly joined International Power in 2006. As Vice-President, Corporate Strategy & Services for International Power's North American region, she is responsible for renewable policy, state and federal regulatory and legislative policy and relations, regulatory compliance, communications, human resources and procurement functions.

With more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Ms. Tomblin has held numerous positions in the generation, transmission and distribution sector. Prior to joining International Power, Ms. Tomblin held several leadership positions within GPU, Inc., a diversified energy production and distribution corporation including Region President, and Legal Counsel, and served as Executive Director in the municipal wastewater industry.



Barry Brits

Barry Brits
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Barry was appointed to his current role as Chief Financial Officer for the North American region in 2005. As CFO, he is responsible for all finance, accounting and treasury functions. Prior to becoming CFO, Barry was vice president – Finance & Administration for the North America region.

Barry joined International Power in 1997 as accountant in the International Development team, and was involved in the National Power demerger process, project financing for the North American assets, and developing operational processes. Prior to this he worked as a plant operations engineer, auditor and consultant with Rio Tinto and Arthur Andersen.
